Hi there, my name is Bhuboy de Leon and I am an OFW since 2002. I have found a great hobby that makes use of my free time here abroad, and fight homesickness, Photography. I have been a weekend Photographer for over 3 years now! My first camera was a Nikon D5100, with a Tamron 18-200 lens which I bought during a sale last 2014.
This was not my first option, the first one was learning to play an electric piano which didn’t last long. So I sold my piano to my friend and saw the camera I mentioned earlier and thought this could be the one. The perfect hobby for me. I was right, after the first time using it, I was hooked.
And up until I discover travel photography, I wasn’t really into photography gear and stuck to a few basic items, focusing more on the experience. Until I saw beautiful images of different places.
My Mission On This Site Is To Share My Travel Experiences And Help Improve Your Photography
How I Create Content
All the content you will find on this site has been planned and edited by me to ensure we meet the highest quality standards. I do tend to use freelance writers to help me putting articles together but nothing is put online without a green light from me, the chief editor. This is to ensure all information we publish is accurate and you can trust it to make trips and purchase decisions.
As much as possible we try to get our hands on the items mentioned in this blog to get real-life experience with them but it is not always possible so we also rely on extensive online feedback from real customers of these items.
I also spend a lot of time in my local stores and talk to their staff to get to know all the items that come out and which ones may be of interest to you.
All in all, I want this site to be a place you can trust and that is not rigged by brand sponsorship so you can use our information to make the best decisions for yourself when it comes to building your own business and improving your photography.
